LaterLife Challenge

Have you done somlogoething new since you retired? Started a new hobby or interest, joined a club or planned an event or trip? The Laterlife Challenge is looking for entries from the over 60s to demonstrate how people are making the most of their retirement years. There are some great prizes and also the knowledge that your story may help inspire others who are finding their senior years lonely or difficult. Chief judge is Blue Peter’s Valerie Singleton.

JOIN US FOR THE BRAILES PANTO 2015

Are you up for a lot of fun? Do you yearn to be a dame or a principal boy?

We are putting on a Panto in February 2015 (exact panto TBC)  and have lots of great parts to fill….

….we have parts for all shapes and sizes, all levels of talent

THIS IS GOING TO BE A LAUGH (AND THAT’S JUST REHEARSALS) AND I URGE YOU ALL TO JOIN US IN OUR VENTURE

You have to be a bit mad to do this, but we have wanted to put on an adult panto for years

We will have our first meetings in August/September to look at the script and then audition parts (nothing too difficult, but you have to be willing to stand on stage!)

Your commitment will vary, I will try and accommodate all our busy lives and we will rehearse at different times and days to suit, but come January, you will have to be available most weekends – something to liven up those dull grey January days!!
