The Brailes (Village) Show

Well, here we are again… It’s that time of year when we arrange the ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING and organize the COMMITTEE for next year’s event.

Firstly, I have to say “Thank You” to the 2014 Committee for their organisation; To the WI Ladies for supplying everyone with sustenance all day long; to all of the helpers on the day and to everyone that turned up to support the show and make it a brilliant success. We, as a Committee are always looking to improve on the previous year. Did we do that? I think we did!   Everything was in place, including the weather (although perhaps the Committee cannot take the credit for organising that), but we ask ourselves could we have done more??

Perhaps we could have…we know there are things that we will change if we are still voted in to carry on for next year. But and it’s a big BUT, we get little ideas from people saying “perhaps you could have done so and so, or would this be a good thing for next year”. What I am actually saying is “are you willing to join our Committee…are you willing to put yourselves forward to being an Officer of the show. New Blood is always welcomed and we need a good cross section of ages (including Teenagers)…so, come along to the AGM and talk to us and lets see if you can help us make NEXT YEARS SHOW even better than last year.

Once again “THANK YOU” for this year and I hope to see lots of people who have ideas to make the next one even better.
