Brailes Parish Council with to offer our deepest condolences to the husband and family of Jackie who sadly passed away last month.  She will be very much missed as a vibrant, active member of the Parish, with a bright smile and a get stuck in attitude.

We wanted to say on behalf of the Parish Council, that she will be greatly missed in this community, a passion for living life to the full she gave so much of herself over the years, whether it was keeping the grass mown, supplying cakes to events, sitting on committees,  entertaining us, or just having a conversation she always listened and gave good advice and was a real asset to our Parish. The village is duller without her, but our memories will burn bright ….” Louise Appleton – Parish Council Chair.

Cllr Whalley-Hoggins spoke of her at the recent Parish Council meeting remebering her enigmatic smile and noting of her service to the village “she was twice the citizen for this village and an exemplary Councillor”
