Brailes Charities was formed in 1970 to combine nine small village charities that were originally formed between 1555 and 1910 to give various forms of assistance to residents of the parish.

The charitable objectives of Brailes Charities is “to relieve either generally or individually persons resident in the parish of Brailes who are in conditions of need, hardship or distress.”

At the discretion of the trustees grants are given on either an annual basis or as individual circumstances dictate.
Part of the assets that came to Brailes Charities upon it’s formation included the land on which the allotments are sited.

Brailes Charities lets out individual allotments for a small rent giving priority to residents of Brailes.
