Village Hall’s January Report from the Feldon News

Hope you all managed to have a good Christmas and Happy New Year.   Fingers crossed that 2022 can only get better.

Susan Gilkes is ploughing ahead and has lots of events planned to celebrate 70 years of the Hall’s Constitution being set up and to also incorporate Her Majesty’s’ 70th Platinum Jubilee which for some of us means a two-day Bank Holiday on Thursday 2nd and Friday 3rd June 2022.

Some of the events planned but full details will be circulated prior to each:

Saturday 22nd January – Coffee Morning to launch 2023 Calendar Photo Competition.

Saturday 26th February – Takeaway Pizza Night

Saturday 12th March – Race Night for Cancer Research – One of Susan’s specialities and a fabulous night.

April’s event to be confirmed.

Sunday 22nd May – Village Treasure Hunt Walk with Afternoon Tea back at the Hall.

Friday 3rd June – Hopefully a combined Village event to celebrate the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee

July’s event to be confirmed

August will be left for Brailes Show

Saturday 10th September – Calendar Photo Competition.

Saturday 22nd October – Calendar presentation

Saturday 19th November – Quiz night …. You have been warned! 😊

Saturday 10th December – Christmas Bingo

All these dates/events are subject to change but it is hoped that it will be full steam ahead to fund raise for the Village Hall, Pavilion and Play Area.  We look forward to your enjoyment of these events.

Hopefully 2022 will bring a full calendar of events, classes and caravans on the field that bring in the funds needed to maintain the Hall, Pavilion and Play Area.    If you are shopping on Amazon please use
