Sustainable Brailes: Oct News
Our future plans:
We’d like to thank Brailes Show for the grant they have awarded us. In line with our Action Plan the grant will be used towards our next projects which include continuing with a Wildflower Project, a banner and a clothes rail to support our stand at Brailes Show and other events.
We’re continuing to review and digest the Energy Audit and are looking forward to taking this forward over the next few months.
Thermal Cameras:
It’s that time of year again that the temperature will start to drop. If you’d like to borrow one, please let us know – contact us on the email address below.
Energy Prices:
As you’ll no doubt be aware there’s a 4% increase in the energy price-cap for the period covering 1 October to 31 December 2026. If you need any help and support with anything from energy advice, to help with applying for grants and funding for energy efficiency measures then do contact Act On Energy 0800 988 2881 or visit their website www.actonenergy.org.uk/
Water Testing:
We’ve just had a 6 week break in testing due to lack of water in the brook but were now back to it.
Repair Café:
Our next Repair Café will be in November – watch out for details nearer the time.
If you would like to get involved, share ideas or support future initiatives, please contact us.
